Join the Seneca Regional Chamber & Development Ambassadors for a ribbon cutting to celebrate The Big Dipper’s 5-year anniversary under new ownership on Wednesday, October 29 at 5 PM! The ceremony will take place at 380 Wentz Street in Tiffin, Ohio.
For more than 30 years, The Big Dipper has been a local favorite, serving up delicious ice cream, hot sandwiches, and friendly smiles to the Tiffin community. With their convenient drive-thru and welcoming walk-up window, it’s easy to grab your favorite treat on the go or relax at one of their picnic tables to enjoy it right there!
The Big Dipper is also proud to be a stop on the Ohio Ice Cream Trail! The trail celebrates Ohio’s most beloved scoop shops, and The Big Dipper is honored to be part of this sweet tradition that brings joy to ice cream lovers across the state.
Since coming under new ownership in 2020, The Big Dipper has made significant investments in the shop, including new equipment, registers, updated menu signage, and building improvements. Their menu now features many longtime favorites alongside new food and ice cream options, ranging from soft serve and Toft’s Hard Dip Ice Cream to Dole Whip, almond milk treats, low-fat yogurt, and sugar-free selections. In addition to their wide variety of frozen treats, The Big Dipper also offers custom cakes and ice cream cakes! Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or just because, these cakes are fully customizable with messages for any celebration.
